Admin Monkey

Welcome to a smarter way to manage your roster and logbook. A comprehensive admin tool for airline pilots, built by airline pilots — with help from some very clever software developers.

How Admin Monkey Helps Pilots

Here are a few of the features that set Admin Monkey apart — this isn’t just another logbook. It actively integrates with your roster to automate tasks, reduce admin, and keep your data accurate

✈️
Automated Logbook

Imagine simply forwarding your journey log for a sector and moments later, finding a fully completed entry in your logbook — without lifting a finger. Intelligent automation eliminates repetitive manual entry, reducing errors and improving overall data quality.

💷
Payslip Breakdown

Ever looked at the FDSA or sector pay figures on your payslip and wondered how they were calculated? This tool breaks everything down in detail, so you can clearly see how each value was derived and verify its accuracy.

📅
Roster History

Need access to your historic roster? Some airlines limit or remove access to past rosters once they expire. Admin Monkey securely retains your roster data from the moment it is first received through an automatic feed from your airline, allowing you to access and review historical details at any time.

⏱️
Duty Time Calculations

And when things don’t go to plan — tight turnarounds, ATC delays, multiple time zones, last minute rostering changes — calculating duty and flight hours becomes a complex challenge. Our built-in calculators use your roster data to handle the hard work for you, helping you understand exactly where you stand now and in the future, when it matters most.

👥
Roster Sharing

Tired of being asked when you’re next flying but reluctant to share your full roster? Our tools let you selectively filter and redact events, giving you a clean, shareable view of your schedule via iCal or a mobile-optimised web view — with roster data translated into plain, non-flight-crew language, so it actually makes sense to everyone else.

📈
Rolling Flight Hours

Have running totals at the press of a button, combining past records from the pilot logbook with future forecasts from the roster for a complete view of your hours.

Why We’re Different

Built by Pilots, Not Corporations

We openly admit that we are a garage startup — a small group of pilots who took a close look at the commercial tools available for logging pilot hours and became disillusioned with the status quo. Most existing solutions are produced by large corporations that tend to be rigid in their approach, offering one-size-fits-all products that don’t always reflect how pilots actually work.

A Better Way Designed Around Real Operations

It quickly became clear to us that this approach wasn’t the answer and that there had to be a better way. By teaming up with experienced software developers, we are building a solution around how pilots actually operate, with the flexibility to accommodate airline-specific rules and procedures.

Why It’s Web-Based And Not An App

We are building Admin Monkey as an online system rather than a standalone mobile app for a reason. The volume of changing data involved — detailed rosters, duty calculations, journey logs and other forms of information being received — simply doesn’t lend itself to an offline app without risking accuracy. With rosters and flight data changing in real time, anything that isn’t always live quickly becomes out of date.

Keeping everything web-based allows us to continuously receive and process roster feeds and journey logs as they arrive, ensuring your data is always current and reliable. It also avoids a very practical issue many pilots face: company-issued devices often block the installation of third-party apps, whereas a secure web system can be accessed from anywhere on any device without restriction.

Less Admin, More Everything Else

Automation does the heavy lifting in the background — so you log in, check what you need, and get on with flying (or life outside of the flight deck).

What Our Early Adopters Are Saying

“Dumped six months of journey logs into it. Went for a coffee whilst it weeded out the duplicates and stitched it all together, 5 minutes later came back to a finished logbook.”
“FDSA and sector pay always looked like guesswork on my payslip. Turns out I was £45 short and didn’t even know.”
“It warned me about a 100-hour / 28-day breach before rostering had even picked up on it.”
